You could call me your photographer but I’m also just a girl who gets it. Listen, my day’s made if I get a crispy Coca-Cola from McDonald’s (wish I had an IV drip of it, seriously). Some days I swear my Spanx are doing the Lord’s work, other days… not so much. I’ll 100% remind you to eat on your wedding day (we are not fainting at the altar), but if it happens? We’ll figure it out. Pinky promise.
I’m Katharine... the gal behind the lens and the brain behind By Birdies (no, my name’s not Birdie (I get that a lot). It’s a nod to my middle name, my grandma, and the way I eat like a bird at every meal. You will never, ever catch me finishing my plate. Sorry not sorry.
And yeah… I do say “a little birdie told me” when I know a secret.
So when a little birdie told me you were getting engaged? Starting a family? Planning something big or small or wonderfully in-between? You already know I'm all in.
I just married the love of my life & my actual best friend. Once he's home from his day job, he’s my personal assistant (willingly), my biggest hype man, and the reason you might hear random giggles or advice from the corner of your shoot. (It’s fine. We love him.)
